We have a beautiful 9-hole golf course that's challenging for the experienced golfer but laid back for our members just venturing into the sport. We have two sets of tees on each hole to create a full 18-hole round experience. See the Scorecard for the coloring system.
Tee times are not necessary at The Oaks but are appreciated for larger groups wanting to come hit the links. Members with golf privileges can play as few or as many holes as they wish. This flexibility allows you to practice your game when YOU have time. No commitment needed to a full round of 9 or 18 holes. Come play when you can!
Appropriate golf attire is required on the course. This includes a collared shirt for men. Women do not have to have collared shirts but appropriate golf shirts and outfits.
We have a number of golf opportunities for our members from the Spring through the Fall.
Every Wednesday evening is Ladies Night. There is no set structure to this play. Around 5:30pm, ladies interested in playing will meet in the clubhouse and form groups to play golf for the evening. There is no skill level required and is a fun, laid back environment. The course is still open to other members to play on Wednesday evenings.
Every Thursday is Men's Day. A group of men meet at the clubhouse around noon for lunch and then hit the links in the afternoon and evening.
Each August, The Oaks hosts a weekend tournament with a 3-man scramble on Saturday and Calcutta tournament on Sunday. This is a fun event with a cookout Saturday evening after the 3-man scramble open to all members.
Each September, The Oaks course superintendent, Logan Schlemmer, places the holes in tough positions on the greens and takes revenge on the team's that know the course. This is a more competitive but fun tournament enjoyed by our members and their guests.
During the summer, we will host a series of golf lessons for our lady members and another series for children. We will post dates and information as they become available next Spring.
